So I can help further.I am on a XP at home and all seems to be working - although I rarely use any of them lately. Ok i managed to use the ttf2pt1.exe and it doesnt like the font i am converting, just errors, but when i try with arial it produces the pfb and the afm files. But i need the pfb and the pfm file.i dont how fonts works and why there are so many font types, i just need something that can produce the pfb and pfm file from a ttf file. I tried transtype, but the demo version adds logo the the font, so that's not good.i am trying crossfont, but struggling to figure out how it works.any other suggestions?thanks. Sorry for the delay in input - as I said in the other question you had asked, there's no windows executable available direct from the makers of ttf2pt1, you have to compile it yourself, or use one that someone else has compiled. I suspect that the.exe version you are using is likely to be an older version.I have to agree with Venibili, if you really really need to do this, spring for the $99 for transtype. If you can compile ttf2pt1 from the c program files (or know someone who can), you might give the latest version a shot, but it's not a polished, commercial package - you do get what you pay for:)Cheers,LHerrou.
